  1. Personal details. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This information is only used for the transaction process and contacting you regarding your purchase or booking.

  2. Special category data. This includes health and medical information. This is needed to determine if you require a referral, assess your physical condition, and if necessary to build your personalised training program.

They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site. You will be notified of our use of cookies and given the opportunity to learn more, via a pop up, when you first visit our website.

 

How your data is stored:

Any electronic data we receive though our website or email, and any forms sent directly to us such as informed consent and PARQ forms, are stored in password protected accounts on a password protected computer, and never on external storage devices.

Any data held in a physical format is stored in a secured file in our office.

 

How long will we keep data:

Any personal data will be disposed of 4 years after the date of your last session or the date which you cancelled an online membership. This time frame allows us to keep the data provided on file long enough to be used within any negligence claims that may be brought upon us (in which an individual has 3 years to make). 

 

Will your data be transferred:

We do not send your data to any third parties, unless we gain consent from your first. This is an unlikely scenario, but may be required if we need to refer you to another professional for medical reasons. We will discus this with your first before taking any action.

 

In the event of a data breach:

A personal data breach could include us accidentally sharing your information, or un-authorised access by a third party. We will keep records of any data breach. If the breach is deemed to pose a risk to an individuals rights and freedoms we will notify the ICO, and we will inform the individuals affected as soon as possible.
